The restoration or service of antique clocks is a process which must be done properly.

To keep a clock in good working order and extend its mechanical components the following should be done every five years or as required. This will ensure your family heirloom is in perfect working order for generations to come.

• The case is carefully restored.
• Complete dismantling and checking of components
• Cleaning of all components
• Repair of all bearing surfaces
• Lapping all 'pivots' to a highly polished finish and the bushing of all the pivot holes as required.
• Inspection for wear and damage of every part.
• Replacement of 'consumable' parts.
• Reassembly
• Lubrication
• Testing
